Costume Designer / Stylist Wanted for Short Horror/Fantasy Film Friends
For our short horror/fantasy film Friends we are looking for a costume designer/stylist with an eye for detail, color and character. This will be a visually strongly stylized film, inspired by bitter Russian fairy tales and the look of 40s/50s Technicolor cinema (4:3).

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with an experienced art director and prop maker, both professionals who have worked on multiple films and are ready to help you bring the visual universe of Friends to life.

About the film & production
Friends is an original horror/sci-fi film with a strong focus on art direction, costumes and props.

The film is shot in a single location with purpose-built sets, meaning styling and costumes play an important role in establishing the atmosphere, time period and characters.

Previously we made Una Volta, a short film selected for Imagine, FilmQuest, Fantasporto and more.

We are currently in post-production of our ultra-short film Doors and want to achieve another great festival run with Friends.

It is a passion project, where a good atmosphere on set and a good result are both important...

Functie eisen / profiel
- Meedenken over de visuele identiteit van de personages.
- Ontwerpen, samenstellen of verzamelen van kostuums op basis van het script en visuele referenties.
- Samenwerken met de art director en propmaker om een consistent totaalbeeld te creëren.
- Zorg dragen voor de aanwezigheid, continuïteit en verzorging van de kostuums tijdens draaidagen.
