Acteur gezocht, man in de 20

We are students of the HKU who are busy making a film production. And we are looking for the second lead actor, BEREND.

The story takes place in the 80s. Brothers GIJS and BEREND live in a trailer park in Amsterdam-Noord.
GIJS and BEREND are two young mature brothers and are neighbors. When they have a small discussion about something silly, it puts their friendship to the test.
A small discussion gets completely out of hand and leads to a fierce fight. This fight reveals their different views on the world, views that do not fit together. After an explosion of tension, they find each other again. The next day they come together again to relax. Another new discussion starts and that is where the film ends. This lets the viewer know that despite the fact that they have these stupid discussions every day, they still choose to come back to each other.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION BEREND
Berend is extrovert, active and has a strong opinion about almost everything. Berend is a sporty guy, bench presser and straight. He doesn't know what he wants, but in any case discovering the world. Berend lives on his own, he wanted independence and that's why he moved. Berend is Gijs' younger brother, they were raised with only their father since their mother left them at a younger age.

Berend is a physical guy, not a cuddly guy, very attached to his masculinity. He is a real womanizer. He likes to go out, but not much further than the local pub a few streets away. He has a red scooter, which is his most precious possession and uses it for his job as a pizza delivery boy. He dreams big, but does not do much, which he would never admit. He has Gijs next to him, which of course makes him feel like an adventurer. He regularly tries to get him away from his trailer, but in vain. They do play football together, in the local football club. Berend is a social, self-assured man. He is straight to the point. Despite his somewhat lower academic development, he keeps himself busy with the news and current affairs.
