For the short HKU fiction film "Frisse Lucht" we are looking for 4 actors for 2 days in the period May 26-29.

Logline:
In this absurdist, satirical drama, Floor comes to the realization that she wants to break away from the idealistic ideas of wealth with which her parents raised her. In search of fresh air and freedom, she becomes suffocated in the oppressive surroundings of their luxury villa. During a seemingly ordinary brunch, she tries to tear herself away from her family, but her attempt to escape is abruptly interrupted and suddenly takes on a physical, almost impossible dimension. To truly escape their world, she will first have to play along — by their rules.

Omschrijving
For this short film we are looking for the following 4 actors.

Floor (23-27) is a smart, honest and empathetic woman who feels like an outsider in her wealthy family. She is looking for a way to make it clear that she wants to escape the material pattern and the golden cage in which she grew up. In order to succeed, she is forced to replay her parents' game, while looking for fresh air in an environment where monotonous air is breathed.

Marieke (55-65), Floor's mother, is a successful property manager who values comfort and status. She is social and controlled, and shows her love through control, believing that this offers her children the best opportunities.

Tobias (25-29), Floor's brother, is a nonchalant boy who likes to follow in his mother's footsteps. He stirs things up with a smile, but avoids real conflict; he tries to push his sister forward with teasing remarks.

Frank (55-65), Floor's father, is a caring but timid man. As financial director of the family business and peacemaker in the family, he often misses the underlying tensions that are necessary to truly keep the peace.
