For my HKU student film of approximately 4 minutes, I am looking for a theater in the Utrecht area where I could film for a (whole) day on Monday, May 26, free of charge or for a small fee, with a small crew of approximately 8 people, including actors.
What the film is about:
A film about femicide, power relations and how the image of love in society influences children.
A classic, dry and terribly cheesy knight-saves-princess story set on a theater stage.
An interaction that starts out comical, but suddenly takes a grim, serious turn and ends in femicide.
An absurdist campaign film about violence against women, power relations and how the image of love in today's society influences the younger generation.
The dialogue is in childish language, making it clear to everyone and conveying “femicide” in an overly simplistic way, to be a wake-up call, while at the same time hinting at the film’s shocking and confrontational ending.
