Gezocht: actrices voor korte film

This coming September I will be applying for a couple of film schools. This film will be used to strengthen my portfolio!

Movie description:
17-year-old Ella has always lived in a performance-oriented environment. This is because her father wants to give her a future in professional football. Ella is used to nothing else, but it is not her passion. Her father puts a lot of pressure on her, which leads to fear and tension. Her father has since passed away, but she still feels and hears him. In this film, Ella goes in search of herself and what she actually wants, because she has never really made her own choices.

Two actresses who look like 17 year olds (preferably if the girls can play football a bit, but not necessary):

Main Role 1: Ella
Ella is a 17-year-old girl who struggles with anxiety attacks and constant pressure that comes from performance pressure and a negative home/sports situation. Her father has forced her for years to play top sports, especially football, while this has never been her own choice or passion. Instead of coaching her positively or offering her a safe environment, he constantly exerted control and pressure on her.

Although her father has passed away, Ella still feels his influence; she hears and feels him in her thoughts. She finds it difficult to make her own choices, simply because she has never been allowed to do so herself before. She is a shy and closed person, but longs to open up to others, even though she often does not know how to do that.

Main Role 2: Zibby
Zibby is Ella's 17-year-old best friend. She knows what's going on with Ella, but also knows that Ella has a hard time opening up when it comes to personal matters. Zibby tries to give her space, while at the same time giving her advice in a light-hearted and humorous way, because she feels that's exactly what Ella needs.

Zibby is energetic, enthusiastic and a real optimist. She sees the bright side of life and tries to pass that positivity on to others.

5-7 extras who can play football, also at the playing age of 17.

De draaiperiode bevat: 4-5 draaidagen (dagdelen) tussen 1 en 10 juli, specifieke draaidagen zullen in overleg worden vastgelegd.
