Project description:
Fenna tells the story of a young woman of 21 who unexpectedly finds herself on her own when her parents divorce and no longer want to support her. She tries to rebuild her life, but finds herself increasingly in trouble: she has to quit her studies, works in the hospitality industry and is eventually even evicted from her home.
The film is a social-realistic drama about young adults, independence and the loss of support.

The film is being made by a group of first year film students as part of a school project. We are working with a small, dedicated team and are looking for enthusiastic actors who want to delve into a realistic and gripping story.

Parents of Fenna

Age: 35–50 years
We are looking for two actors (male and female) for the roles of Fenna's parents. Fenna is a young woman who struggles with the fact that her parents are getting divorced and no longer want to support her. The scenes with the parents are strongly about body language and mutual dynamics. The parents are portrayed as a kind of higher power that Fenna has no influence on - both are self-assured and rational in their attitude.


Divorce Lawyer

Age: 25–65 years
The lawyer plays a smaller but important role in the film. This person acts as a calm, professional presence during a conversation with the parents. The role requires a calm, confident presence and a sense of authority, without excessive drama. This role is also suitable for people with a business or legal appearance.

De draaidag vindt plaats in juni en wordt in overleg met de acteurs ingepland.
