Logline: During a tense family weekend, 11-year-old Arthur discovers that his father's attention comes at a high price.

Short Synopsis:
Eleven-year-old Arthur is taken by his parents on a family weekend to his grandfather's country house. Upon arrival, tensions are immediately palpable in the family. Father takes Arthur hunting, where he pressures Arthur to shoot a rabbit.

In the evening, during the family dinner, tensions rise again. Uncle challenges father to solve it the 'old fashioned way'. Father accepts and a fencing duel ensues in the gymnasium. The atmosphere is tense and the match ends in a symbolic fight for recognition and destructive competition. Grandfather watches from the doorway.

The next day, Arthur feels he has to prove himself to his father and when his nephew tries to bully him, it leads to a fatal confrontation.

In 2024 my idea was selected for WeArePlaygrounds to be developed into a film plan. Now the plan is finished and I want to apply to realize the plan.

For this I am looking for a producer who wants to submit the application to NPO Fiction Film Campus together with me and develop the film.

It is a serious request with great responsibilities and amounts of money. For this I am also looking for someone who can work at this level.

De producent zal samen met mij de aanvraag doen. Wanneer het plan wordt geselecteerd zal de producent zich focussen op productionele taken zoals: Het opstellen van de begroting, planning, het zoeken van een cast, crew en locaties.
