Landvast is a cultural centre for all residents of Alblasserdam and the surrounding area. A place for citizens, businesses and associations to watch, dance, meet, party, enjoy, play sports, celebrate, toast, make music and be together. With a mix of social and commercial activities, Landvast is always a welcoming place for meeting and connecting.
We have 11 halls, varying in size from 21 m2 to 335 m2. Including two cinema halls and our service cinema Cinema Royaal.
Landvast is looking for a new film programmer for our film programme. We aim for a broad programme, where we serve different target groups and everyone can feel welcome in Landvast. In addition to large and well-known 'blockbusters', we also show performances about art, opera and ballet performances in our cinema and we have an arthouse programme.
We work in a small team of permanent employees and with a large group of temporary employees. We are therefore looking for a team player who is willing to put his or her shoulder to the wheel, is flexible and willing to take on other tasks and activities in addition to the function of film programmer.

As a film programmer at Landvast, you are responsible for the development and realisation of the weekly film programming. You consult with colleagues, make proposals and make choices together. You book films, maintain contact with film distributors, take care of the planning of film screenings, the entry into our ticket reservation system and coordinate the film transport (DCPs).
You will work together with our marketing employee and ensure the correct communication of our films via, among other things, the website, newsletters and social media.
You think along and help organize peripheral programming surrounding film screenings (specials, ladies nights, Q&As, etc.). You are the point of contact for everything related to film, cinemas and projectors.

- Hbo-werk- en denkniveau;
- Kennis van de filmwereld;
- Organisatorisch en planmatig sterk;
- Een commerciële instelling;
- Gastvrij en affiniteit met horeca;
- Technisch inzicht;
- Beschikbaar buiten de reguliere kantoortijden;
- Kennis van en inzicht in onze doelgroepen;
- Zin om nieuwe ideeën te ontwikkelen op het gebied van de filmprogrammering;
- Proactief en ondernemend in het volgen van ontwikkelingen in de filmwereld en het implementeren daarvan;
- Het werven van extra middelen via fondsen en subsidies voor het ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van brede programma’s;
- Mondelinge en schriftelijke uitdrukkingsvaardigheid voor het overbrengen van informatie en het geven van advies aan betrokkenen op verschillende niveaus;
- Goed kunnen aansturen van oproepkrachten.

 Een goed salaris passend bij de functie en je werkervaring (2800 - 4200 bruto per maand obv een volledige fte en een werkweek van 38 uur );
