Film Producer

Hello,
We’re reaching out to find a producer interested in joining our team on the narrative film "Goya" currently in production. We’ve completed one-third of the film and are preparing to shoot the remaining scenes later this year or early next.

Goya is a character-driven short exploring disconnection, intimacy, and emotional fragmentation through a poetic, ensemble lens.

Set across urban Amsterdam and rural Germany, the story centers on a group of friends whose weekend camping trip exposes unspoken tensions and shifting loyalties. Inspired by films like Moonlight and Before Sunrise, it also draws structural influence from Akira Kurosawa’s Rashomon, using multiple perspectives and subjective memory to complicate truth and deepen emotional resonance.

Omschrijving
We’re currently seeking a producer who can:

1.Help guide remaining production planning (scheduling, logistics)
2.Help secure funding with grant applications / pitch prep
3.Oversee remaining preproduction, budgeting, and post wrap-up
4.Support post-production and festival strategy
5.Be a creative collaborator as well as a practical engine for the project

Periode
We plan to shoot the remaining scenes in either:

October - November 2025, or
Early next year depending on availability and funding.

Functie eisen / profiel
1. Project Oversight & Strategic Planning

Join as a key creative collaborator to help see the film through completion
Align with your vision and help protect the tone, structure, and integrity of the film
Work closely with Wald Studios (the director/writer) and Alejo Maglio (DP) to coordinate final production needs

2. Funding & Financial Management
Secure financing for the remaining shoot - through:
Grant applications (Netherlands Film Fund, Fonds21, Eurimages, etc.)
Private investors / sponsors
In-kind partnerships or crowdfunding (if appropriate)
Create or manage the production budget for the second phase
Oversee cost tracking and payment distribution

3. Production Management (Remaining 2/3 of the Film)
Lock shooting dates (Oct–Nov 2025 or early 2026)
Help finalize crew hiring and logistics for the Germany forest block
Secure permits, insurance, and any necessary local support
Manage the production schedule and call sheets
Supervise on-set coordination: lodging, transport, equipment, meals, safety

4. Post-Production Oversight
Coordinate:
Editing schedule
Sound design / score
Color grading
Final mastering
Ensure deliverables are organized for festivals and screening
