Looking for a Producer – 48 Hour Film Project Amsterdam

Cortado Studios is assembling a team for the 48 Hour Film Project Amsterdam, happening the weekend of October 17th to 19th, 2025. The 48HFP is an adrenaline-fueled creative challenge: teams have just 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film from scratch!

Please note: All roles, including producer, are unpaid as required by 48HFP rules. Your time and energy are your contribution. Food will be provided throughout the weekend. Transport expenses can be discussed but are not guaranteed.

As Producer, you’ll be the organiser and motivator—coordinating logistics, keeping the team on track, and ensuring the production runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll work closely with the director, the executive producer and a passionate creative team, making the impossible happen in just 48 hours!

There are some production elements that are being dealth by the exec producer so you will be taking over from her and continue the production job alonside the team.

Who you are:
- Highly organised, positive, and a good communicator
- Stays calm under pressure and enjoys creative problem-solving
- Interested in filmmaking, production, or live events
- Some producer experience is preferred, as well as required—enthusiasm, commitment, and reliability

Functie eisen / profiel
- Coordinate cast, crew, locations, and equipment
- Track time, keep everyone moving, and help meet deadlines
- Manage food, breaks, and general wellbeing for the team
- Help submit the film on time and liaise with the festival organisers
- Problem-solve on the fly and motivate the team
- Support any post-project events or social sharing
