We’re looking for actors for a fun Western-Comedy short film! See descriptions below. All acting will be in English.



Bring energy, personality, and a true Western vibe!

In-person casting in Den Haag (near Central Station) on September 27 from 13:00 to 17:00 (by appointment only). We are also looking for extras, so don’t be shy. Casting via self-tapes will unfortunately not be possible.

ROLES

LEAD ROLE

Sandy (the cowgirl/wrangler)
Female - AGE 25 - 40
Should be comfortable with a country style dance scene (think simple steps, rhythm, fun energy)
Strong-willed, charismatic presence. A natural sense of humor and comedic timing.

SUPPORTING ROLES

Morgan (the Bartender)
Female - AGE 30 - 50
Bold, lively, with charm and quick wit.

Carl & Ron (Card players)
2 x Male AGE 30 - 99.
Poker faces welcome! We’re looking for strong personalities who can create an atmosphere at the table.
Requires dialogue in English with a natural American accent.

Sam (Guitar player)
Male/Female, AGE 20 - 80
Must be able to play guitar confidently.
Silent role, but requires an expressive face.

Joop (the Cleaner)
Male/Female - AGE 25 - 60
Few lines, but present in key comedic moments.

EXTRAS

Silent characters in the background, drinking or playing cards in a Saloon.
1 x Female - AGE 30 - 50
1 x Man - AGE 30 - 99

Periode
Shooting will take place in Den Haag (Centrum) on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st October indoors (full or half days depending on the role).

Wat bieden wij?
We cannot offer a retribution, but a fun collaboration with award-winner members of the crew. You will participate in an artistic project in which you really get the space to show your acting skills. Travel expenses and food is of course provided.
The film will participate in festivals.
