48HFP Amsterdam – Looking for MUA with FX Experience

We are participating in the 48 Hour Film Project Amsterdam 2025, taking place October 17–19. In just one weekend, our team will write, shoot, and edit a short film. We are a semi-professional group of filmmakers passionate about storytelling, and we are looking for a skilled Makeup Artist (MUA) with FX experience to join our crew.

Omschrijving
An experienced MUA who can handle both standard makeup and basic to intermediate FX work (e.g. bruises, cuts, blood effects, aging, or character transformations). A personal kit and FX materials are required.

Functie eisen / profiel
- Apply natural, beauty, and character makeup as required
- Create FX looks (bruises, wounds, blood effects, etc.) as needed by the script
- Work efficiently under time pressure and adapt quickly to changes
- Collaborate with the director and costume/production departments
- Bring and use own kit (including FX materials)
