Regisseur/editor gezocht voor gospel music video

This music video tells the intimate, true story of a young couple who face deep loss shortly after their wedding.
After months of anticipation and joy, their pregnancy suddenly ends in a miscarriage, an event that turns their world upside down.
Not even months later, they also lose the woman's mother, causing grief and emptiness to follow one another — and faith, love and hope must be given meaning again.
The video weaves three worlds into one cinematic whole:
an intimate live performance by singer ILAISA with band and strings, recorded in an old church building;
a dance duet that symbolizes love, loss and connection;
and acted scenes that visualize the couple's emotional journey — from anticipation to grief, and from grief to recovery.
The style is inspired by Clean Bandit – Symphony and Better Man – She's the One by Robbie Williams — a visual narrative in which music, emotion and image come together to form one story.
With this project we want to show that beauty and sadness can coexist, and that faith can provide strength even in the darkest moments.

We are looking for a director/editor with a good sense of emotion, atmosphere and visual language.
Someone who can lead the creative process during the shooting days and also take care of the final editing.
We have a small, enthusiastic team of four cameramen and a permanent cast, and are looking for someone to help us bring the vision visually to life.

Periode
De opnames staan gepland voor begin tot midden november 2025, afhankelijk van de beschikbaarheid van de regisseur.
We verwachten het project in 2 à 3 draaidagen te kunnen realiseren.

Functie eisen / profiel
Ervaring met regie of cinematografische storytelling
Bekend met Adobe Premiere Pro of DaVinci Resolve
Kan leiding geven op set en visuele keuzes vertalen naar emotie
In staat om te monteren tot een samenhangend, professioneel eindproduct
Affiniteit met muziek- of dansproducties is een pré
