Three people: Justin, Thomas, and Mees, head into the woods for a night of drinking and drug use. For Justin and Thomas, it's a familiar ritual; it's their regular escape from reality. For Mees, Justin's nephew, it's the first time. He's insecure, but wants to fit in. Under peer pressure, he joins in on a joint laced with the hallucinogen Salvia. The atmosphere is lighthearted; laughter fills the air, music plays softly, and the night fades into a hazy haze.

The next morning, Justin and Thomas wake up on the damp forest floor with splitting headaches. They have no idea how the evening ended and Mees has disappeared. At first, they're not worried; they think he's asleep somewhere or gone to the bathroom. But when he doesn't show up, they begin searching for him. They wander through the silent forest, calling out and stumbling, until they find him. Lifeless under a tree, an empty beer bottle in his hand.

In shock, they try to wake him, but Mees doesn't respond. The reality slowly dawns on them: Mees is dead! Panic sets in. Instead of calling for help, the boys are paralyzed by fear and guilt. They accuse each other, search for explanations, and desperately try to extra out what happened that night.

As Justin watches videos on his phone, the pieces of the puzzle slowly fall into place. Fragments of the night come back: laughter, chaos, a roaring fire, Mees trying to fly, a crash, someone shouting, "Shit, he's not moving."
Then Justin realizes the inevitable: he was there when Mees fell. Maybe it was a joke that went too far, maybe something he never meant, but the responsibility is his.

Overwhelmed by guilt and shame, Justin decides not to run any longer. He calls 911, but he does walk away from the woods, away from his addictions, his lies, and their "innocent" ritual. Thomas stays behind, stunned and silent, beside the lifeless body of their "friend."

We're looking for an enthusiastic actor (18-28) to bring one of three unique characters to life. Below, we're pleased to introduce the roles:

Justin (23 years old)
Mees's older cousin. A super sociable boy, a bit clumsy and unkempt, but hard not to like. Justin is always present. He has experience with alcohol and drugs and was given a lot of freedom when he was younger, which his parents are now (too late) trying to control. He lives day to day, without much sense of responsibility. Justin is a childhood friend of Thomas's; the two live in the same neighborhood and spend a lot of time together.

Mees (17 years old)
Justin's younger nephew, who looks up to him immensely. They used to be close, but Justin has often been too busy in recent years. Mees tries to appear tough and important, hoping to reconnect with his nephew. He doesn't know Thomas well, but he finds illegal activities exciting and is willing to take risks to be part of Justin's world.

Thomas (22 years old)
Justin's best friend. They do everything together and form a close bond. Thomas sees Mees as a little brat trying to interfere in their friendship. Still, he agrees to let Mees go, mainly so he won't lose Justin. He tries to act big and tough, but beneath the surface, jealousy and insecurity are simmering.
