Make-up Artist gezocht voor korte horror/fantasyfilm Friends

For our short horror/fantasy film Friends, we are looking for a talented make-up artist (MUA) who enjoys working on a passion project without a budget, but with an experienced and enthusiastic team.

The film is set in a fantasy world that feels like a dark Russian fairy tale, filmed in 4:3 Technicolor. Think of a low-budget, Eastern European answer to The Wizard of Oz (1939)—absurd, imaginative, and with room for creative interpretation.

Entirely recorded in the Tungsten Studio in Broek in Waterland (near Amsterdam)

You work with a small cast playing both human villagers and animal characters.
The makeup is subtle but essential for conveying the fairytale and grim atmosphere
Our previous film was selected for Imagine, FilmQuest, Panic Fest, and Fantasporto, among others. With Friends, we are also aiming for a strong international festival round.

Shooting days are

- You work with a small cast playing both human villagers and animal characters

- The makeup is subtle but essential for conveying the fairytale-like and grim atmosphere

- Our previous film was selected for Imagine, FilmQuest and Fantasporto, among others.

- We are also aiming for a strong international festival round with Friends

- Make-up verzorgen voor een kleine cast (denk aan lichte grime, sprookjesachtige accenten, contrast tussen "warm dorp" en "koude berg")
