Hoofdrol eindexamen - Wat Stil Lijkt.

My name is Sam Voulon, and I'm a graduating audiovisual specialist at KW1C. For my final exam, I was assigned to film a specific poem in a dramatic context, and for this, I developed a vision surrounding an institutionalized ex-convict.

For this short film, it's essential that the protagonist be mature due to the length of time they may have spent in prison. That's why I'm searching far and wide for someone who could potentially fill this role.

The role has no dialogue, as the poem is added later over the material. The actor could narrate it, but this isn't necessary.

I dreamed that I lived slowly... slower than the oldest stone.

It was terrible: everything around me shot up, shook or trembled, even though it seemed still.

I saw the urge with which the trees struggled from the earth as they sang hoarsely and haltingly; while the seasons flew by, changing color like rainbows...

I saw the tremor of the sea, its swelling and then hastily shrinking, as a great throat might drink.

And day and night of short duration flames and extinguishes: flickering fire. -

The desperation and eloquence in the gestures of things that are otherwise rigid, and their urgency, their breathless, cruel struggle…

How could I not have known this before, not have seen it better in the past?

How can I ever forget it again?


Since this is my final exam, the teachers are naturally trying to give us a huge challenge. This time, they're setting a very short timeframe for the entire production (16 days). Therefore, I'm looking for an actor or actress for the lead role at very short notice.

Omschrijving
For the exam, I'm looking for a mature man or woman who has time next week to act. This will likely be spread over two days (each about two hours, I expect), as there are two locations. The main character has served a long prison sentence and can't cope with the overwhelming outside world upon their release.

Periode
Één of twee draaimomenten van beide ongeveer twee uur aankomende week tussen de 18e en 21e van November.

De eerste locatie waar we filmen is Nationaal Monument Oranjehotel, een voormalige gevangenis. Hiervoor heb ik een tijdslot kunnen bemachtigen van 09:00 tot 11:00 op volgende week woensdag 19 November. Het vervoer naar deze locatie doen we graag voor u d.m.v u ophalen en terug te brengen naar gewenste locatie.

De tweede locatie zal wegens regels van de examenopdracht in Den Bosch zijn. Hier filmen we buiten op straat bij een aantal locaties en dit zou in de ochtend, de middag, of namiddag kunnen op een dag die voor u het beste uit komt aankomende week. Dit zou ook na het filmen bij de gevangenis kunnen. Qua vervoer brengen en halen we u graag op.

Wat bieden wij?
