Student short film – Looking for Male Actor (Alex)

We are producing a short student film as part of our Film Minor. It is a thriller exploring intense emotions, including a brief murder scene. Full synopsis available upon request. The film will be shot in Arnhem with a small student crew.

Synopsis
“DeadLine” is a story about Ava, a hard-working student who works late nights at
a bar to pay her way through school and help her mother financially. She has been
accepted into a competitive criminal psychology program with a full scholarship.
This had been her dream for ages and could change her life. That scholarship
means freedom. She can leave her energy-draining job in the bar and focus
entirely on her future. However, one morning, she wakes up and gets an
anonymous phone call. A dark voice tells her that he knows everything about her
and the accidental murder with a car; a secret that she kept for years. The voice
gives her a deadline. She needs to kill the friend who drove the vehicle by Friday, or
her secret will be exposed. Her world begins to crumble, and she wants to resist,
but the voice knows too much. Her sense of morality clashes with her fear of
losing everything she worked so hard for. As the days pass, she decides to go
through it. By the time she finds Alex, the truth twists again. He got the same
message. What began as blackmail is now a game of revenge and guilt. Arranged
by someone who lost everything in the accident, they desperately tried to forget.
