Wolf is a visual and emotional short film, directed by award-winning emerging director Abel van Essen, about friendship, masculinity, and the power of vulnerability. The film explores how true masculinity lies in openness and emotional honesty. The project aims to offer a counter-narrative in a culture where toxic masculinity is still often the norm.
Although the film is formally submitted as a graduation film to the Willem de Kooning Academy, Wolf is positioned and promoted as an independent film by its maker, separate from its graduation character.

OmschrijvingFor this project we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic producer or production party who:
• Takes responsibility for communication and organizational leadership within the team;
• Responsible for fundraising and funding applications (in collaboration with the director);
• Streamlines and monitors production processes from pre-production to post-production;
• Contributes to the strategy, planning, visibility and positioning of the film.
The role includes elements of both producer and executive producer.
