Producent (HKU Afstudeerfilm – Fictie, 20 min)

Scheepsrecht is a historical coming-of-age drama and HKU graduation film about Marja Idzinga, the first female student at the Rotterdam Maritime Academy in 1970. While the outside world sees her as a symbol of emancipation, Marja primarily tries to follow her dream: sailing, just like everyone else.

The film features both intimate scenes and filming in ship and harbor settings. A strong film treatment (work in progress) and a motivated core crew are ready; we are now seeking a producer to take this project further.

About the director
I'm Floor van Lent, a fourth-year Directing Fiction student at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. My work focuses on stories about identity, emancipation, and human growth. With Scheepsrecht, I want to tell a true story that's moving, inspiring, and relatable to anyone trying to find their place.

- Wants to work together on a professional graduation project

Functie eisen / profiel
Als producent werk je nauw samen met regie en crew om het project te realiseren. Je houdt je o.a. bezig met:

- Planning en draaiboek

- Productielogistiek

- Crowdfunding en budgetcoördinatie

- Communicatie met locaties, cast en crew

- Voorbereiding van draaidagen
