Hi! My name is Pia and I’m an SAE Amsterdam student finishing my Bachelor and working on my thesis film, and I’m looking for my cast to join the project.

Logline - After the loss of his partner, a man drifts through a surreal world where memory, desire, and reality blur, confronting grief and the fragile nature of identity.

Through striking, dreamlike visuals and the evocative use of red as an emotional anchor, the film explores the complexity of grief and the search for meaning amid loss.

FAVIAN – Lead Role
Male, mid-30s
Favian is the emotional core of the film, a man drowning in grief, memory, and longing. He moves through the world with a quiet heaviness, carrying the weight of unresolved love and a reality that keeps slipping through his fingers.
He is introspective, soft-spoken, and deeply vulnerable, often lost in his own mind. His emotional palette ranges from numb detachment to raw, overwhelming heartbreak. Throughout the story, Favian drifts between real moments and dreamlike sequences, making his performance subtly shifting: sometimes grounded, sometimes untethered.

Looking for an actor who can:
- Convey intense internal emotion with minimal dialogue
- Move between grounded realism and surreal, dreamlike states
- Capture the fragility, confusion, and haunted quality of someone who no longer trusts his own memory

PATRICK – Supporting Lead
Male, mid-30s
Patrick is Favian’s lover, seen through memories, dreams, and fleeting visions. He represents warmth, connection, and the life Favian has lost or may be losing from memory. His presence is tender, intimate, and emotionally radiant. Even when silent, he feels like a force pulling Favian back toward both love and pain.

Patrick appears in a mix of grounded flashbacks and surreal dreamscapes, so the actor must feel real and human, yet also capable of embodying an almost symbolic presence, the embodiment of love, longing, and the past.

Looking for an actor who can:
- Portray deep emotional intimacy and vulnerability
- Bring subtle chemistry and unspoken history to scenes
