What is Left is an Narrative audio series that feels like you're eavesdropping into a real life conversation. And not just any conversation but a continual intimate, fun and emotional gripping, conversation that follows the unraveling of a friendship. With a tone inspired by Before Sunrise, Frances Ha translated entirely for sound.

Synopis:
What Is Left follows two childhood best friends (Lulu and Lora), who reunite after three years and set out on a long-awaited road trip. But as expectations clash and truths emerge, they must learn whether their friendship can evolve… or let go of what it used to be.
The work will be performed and recorded live in real locations (such as in a car or on the beach), allowing the environment to shape the performances and create a heightened sense of realism for both the listener and the actors.

Female Lead for Narrative Audio Series

The role of Lora is open.
Lora (22) is sensitive, observant, and full of contradictions. If she were to unexpectedly run into her crush in public, she’d instantly turn bright red and search for the quickest escape, hiding behind a signpost, diving into a bush, or running full speed in the opposite direction.
Though she can appear reserved, beneath the surface lies a playful and goofy core that only emerges with those she deeply trusts. She loves intensely but struggles to express this, especially with her best friend Lulu, whom she adores most.
Actors in their 20s to mid-30s are welcome to apply.

We are looking for an actor who is:
-A creative and collaborative partner
-Able to make the text fully their own
-Comfortable improvising when needed
-Reliable with time and scheduling

This role requires the actor to know the script thoroughly, as reading from the script during recording will not be possible.

Periode
The estimated recording period is 5 days, during which we will move through different landscapes and locations.
Rehearsals will begin approximately 6 weeks prior to recording. Rehearsal days and times will be discussed and scheduled in consultation with actors.
