Gaffer & Head of Lighting Call (Short Film)

Deerek, a strikingly handsome man, walks through Amsterdam surrounded by women and tulips, presenting a perfect facade while hiding a simmering rage. His obsession with superficiality drives him to confront the fragility of beauty and societal falseness, culminating in a private ritual that declares his manifesto: “You are not a tulip.” Keukenhof is a dark, satirical journey into authenticity, desire, and appearances.

Hi, I am Sergio Benito. DoP of Keukenhof short film. We are building up a crew and we have some of the roles such as Director, Producer, Sound, etc filled up. But we are still looking for some people to collaborate on a few roles.

We are looking for a gaffer who is not professional (as nor are we) but have proven experience bringing to life a project like a short film with the use of light.

Send me a message and explain to me how you would like to collaborate, and attach your material of the productions you've worked before as a gaffer, that shows your abilities with light.

We will also appreciate it if you know a gaffer who is interested in collaborating in a project such as ours.

Periode
Shooting will be in principle in April. I will share the detailed schedule.

Wat bieden wij?
This is a no budget film.

We will cover the expenses of the shooting itself, except travel costs to Amsterdam. When shooting outside the city we will provide transportation.
