Gaffer Needed for Graduation Film

Hello, I am a 4th year Audiovisual student from Willem de Kooning Academy. For my graduation, I am working on a romantic comedy.

Logline: Desperate for a lover, Billy starts seeing Carrie, who hides a bizarre secret.
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Length: ±12 minutes

Synopsis:
Billy is desperate for connection. When he matches with Carrie on a dating app, their chemistry is immediate and they quickly begin seeing each other. But Carrie has a strange and humiliating medical condition: whenever intimacy approaches, she gets diarrhoea. Unaware of the truth, Billy grows increasingly insecure as every near-romantic moment ends with Carrie abruptly fleeing. Convinced he’s the problem, he spirals, confiding in his flatmate and questioning his own worth. On their final date, the truth finally comes out, leaving Billy in a truly shitty situation that forces him to decide just how much he’s willing to endure for love.

We’re looking for an experienced gaffer to help create a comprehensive lighting rental list and collaborate with the team on set to execute the lighting plan efficiently.

Periode
The shootings will take 3 days. The current dates are 9 to 11 April.

Functie eisen / profiel
Some experience working with lights on set is preferable!

Ideally, this would be a portfolio collaboration, with your contribution credited and featured in the final project. At minimum, I’m able to cover any direct expenses related to your involvement.
