Sound designer gezocht voor HKU-afstudeerfilm

For the graduation film 'Overgaan', we are looking for an enthusiastic sound designer who wants to take the film's sound to the next level. We already have a great post-production team, but we are looking for someone who enjoys brainstorming how we can use sound design to bring even more atmosphere, tension, and emotion into the film.

Overgaan is a short film about 8-year-old Mirre, who experiences loss up close for the first time when her best friend dies. The film portrays grief from a child's perspective and explores how confusing it can be when your way of feeling doesn't align with that of the people around you. It is an intimate, sensitive film that holds much in small moments, silences, and atmosphere.

We are looking for someone with a feel for atmosphere and detail, who enjoys using sound to truly add something to the film experience. It is therefore not just about technical execution, but also about enhancing emotion, tension, and Mirre's world.

Periode
Vanaf de week van 8 juni. We zenden de film in voor de studentencompetitie van het Nederlands Filmfestival, de deadline hiervoor is 21 juni.

Functie eisen / profiel
Ontwerpen en uitwerken van het sound design van de film.
Toevoegen van atmosferen, effecten en kleine geluidsdetails die scènes versterken.
Meedenken over hoe geluid de emotionele beleving van de film kan ondersteunen.
Afstemmen met regie en postproductie richting de eindversie.
