Short Synopsis:
Mira Shard is a tough yet precarious pianist living alone in a near-future society, ruled by authoritarian power. When two Soldiers arrive at her door and Mira is confronted with forced military conscription, she must choose between resistance and imprisonment, or complicity in state violence.

Civvie takes place in real time, set entirely in one location, and will be made in a single long take. Our production is committed to creating a safe and respectful working environment, and we encourage applications from performers of all backgrounds.
