For an intimate, character-driven short film about love, distance, and attachment, I am looking for two actors for the lead roles.
It is a subtle, visual film about a young woman struggling with intimacy in a loving relationship. The film explores how desire and fear can coexist, and how someone can lose themselves in trying to stay.
The roles are:
LENA (20–25 years)
Introverted, sensitive, observant
Carries a lot within without expressing it
Must be strong in subtle acting: micro-expressions, body language, silences
MEES (20–27 years)
Warm, open, patient
Emotionally available without playing “over the top”
Must be able to credibly radiate safety and calm
Relies heavily on reaction and presence
