URGENT Looking for MUAH

"In Pieces" is a survival horror short film inspired by part of the immigrant experience, where you find yourself isolated from loved ones who try to help, but are unable to. The core themes of this film are isolation, trust and unconditional care through distance and time. The film is set in the 80s, in an abandoned cabin in the woods. The horror elements include a monster hunting our main character.

Omschrijving
We are looking for a make-up and hair artist to bring the look of the film forward in our lead actress. Her head will be bandaged most of the time, so that's a matter of keeping the bandages in place. The make-up will be natural, including some cuts and bruising. This is a great opportunity to experiment with VFX makeup!

Periode
We are filming the 6th, 7th and 8th of April. The first two are full shoot days and the last is a half-day.

Functie eisen / profiel
Some experience with makeup, but a huge portfolio is not necessary. This is a learning opportunity too! If you have your own makeup to work with, that is great, but we can also discuss what is needed and provide it.

Wat bieden wij?
We offer compensation for the cost of transportation, meals and snacks during the shoot as well as material for your portfolio! The intention is to submit to film festivals when the film is finished, which could be great exposure for you as well.
