Hangjongeren - Handhaving video Kerkrade

We are making a video in collaboration with Kerkrade's enforcement department. Our devised scenario emphasizes the importance of mutual respect between enforcement officers and the people they approach.

To illustrate this, we capture a scenario where two youths are causing a noise nuisance on the street with a speaker. They are standing against a low wall near a neighborhood and are also making a mess with cans and bags of chips, which they have left scattered around them. Two enforcement officers then approach the youths and ask them if they can turn off the music and leave the location. The youths do not take the officer seriously, laugh at him, and subsequently become aggressive. They stand up against him and start making threats.
Subsequently, the next day in the canteen, the enforcement officer is asked if they are doing okay. But the officer lets them know that it is simply part of the job.

In the scenario, we hope to let the viewer know that these kinds of incidents should not be part of the job. We want to emphasize the human side of the enforcement officer once again. Aggression towards law enforcement actually hinders the sense of togetherness they aim to achieve.

We are looking for actors for the two young people from Limburg.

The boys (stereotypical street youth) wear loose clothing and a cap to be less recognizable. The clothes are dark and neutral. It is clear that they follow mainstream trends and want to express little personality in their clothing style.
They feel misunderstood and always the victims, which is why they quickly resort to shouting.
