A short synopsis:

A brilliant scientist has built a time machine. This time machine blows up after an act of sabotage. The scientist is blamed for the countless deaths in the explosion and runs away into the forest. After several days, weeks, or months, the scientist misses the past and begins to reflect. While reminiscing, she remembers her former colleague, who had changed companies. The now-rival who was with the time machine but didn't belong there. In a moment of rage, she storms back to the lab, where she finds the saboteur, the rival. Her emotions overwhelm her, and she attacks the saboteur.

We study in Utrecht, so make sure you can travel easily and cheaply/for free. We are not responsible for your expenses during this project.

Omschrijving
We are looking for 3 actors:

Roëlle:
Roëlle is the lead role in this short film. She is a scientist with one of the greatest breakthroughs in fiction: she has built a working time machine. (more info in synopsis under project info)

For this role, we have a female actor who looks mature, around 30-50. (the age of the actor themselves does not matter)



Appearance (not required): shoulder-length hair or slightly longer (will likely be tied up in a ponytail) height 1.70m or taller

Voice preference (not required): Mature, a deeper, calm voice. Possibly raspy. (Required): Must be able to sound angry or intimidating and be able to scream in anger.



This role requires fighting acting (role of the "attacker") (you must already be able to do this or be willing to try it; we can help with learning).

Jurre:
Jurre is Roëlle's former colleague who changed companies because he considered himself too good/smart for the company where he worked. He is the antagonist of the story as the saboteur.



For this role, we need a male actor who appears young/mature. (The actor's own age does not matter.)



appearance (not required): short hair, slim extra, medium or below medium length.

voice preference (not required): slightly higher or softer voice than your "typical" man, possibly nerdy)



This role requires fighting acting (role of the "victim") (you must already be able to do this or be willing to try it; we can help with learning).

Klara:
Roëlle's youngest and favorite colleague; they share a sisterly or mother-daughter dynamic. She has the most screen time alongside the lead (Roëlle).



For this role, we have a female actor who appears young-mature, 21-30 (the age of the actor themselves does not matter).



Appearance (not required): Long hair, young adult, length does not matter.

voice preference (not required): sweet, warm voice (range doesn't matter)

Background character, no specifications.

The story takes place in a professional environment, so the actors should ensure they have appropriate clothing.
