We are looking for a camera operator to join our team for the recording of a theatrical performance.
This concerns a recording of the show “In vredesnaam” by Tijmen Dokter, at De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam. The performance lasts approximately an hour and a half.
During the recording, you operate one of the cameras. You work with a small team on location: I am in charge of directing, switching live between the different camera angles. One camera is used as a close-up and actively follows the actor; this is controlled by me.
We are looking for someone who:
has experience operating cameras (preferably in a live or recording setting)
can work in a concentrated and precise manner throughout the entire performance
can collaborate well and follow instructions from the director
It is a great opportunity to gain experience with theater recording in a professional setting.
