Maktoub is a raw, intimate, and urgent short film, based on real experiences, about 13-year-old Anouar, who grows up in a violent home situation in Morocco and eventually decides to flee to Europe.
The film will be shot entirely in Morocco, where we are collaborating with great line producers there: www.shoufou.film/nl. We will be shooting with a mix of Dutch and Moroccan crew (approximately 50/50). There will also be a local 3rd AD who knows the working methods there well and speaks English.

OmschrijvingFor the social-realist short film Maktoub, directed by Mamoun Elyounoussi and Kilian Brons, we are looking for a driven First Assistant / 1st AD with experience, who thrives on a challenging international production like this one.
PeriodeWe draaien van 12 t/m 17 juni in Marokko. Voor de Nederlandse crew is het plan om op 9 juni in de avond heen te vliegen en 18 juni in de ochtend terug.
Functie eisen / profielJe hebt ervaring, spreekt Engels en bent ook beschikbaar in de pre-productie voor enkele overleggen.
Wat bieden wij?We werken met een budget waarmee we een mooie en professionele productie kunnen neerzetten, maar helaas wel een budget waarbij het lastig wordt om vergoedingen te kunnen dekken.
Vliegtickets, verblijf, lokaal transport en catering worden uiteraard wel volledig geregeld.
