Itazura Studios is an independent, internationally distributed animation studio developing an original indie animated series. The project is currently in active production and focuses on strong narrative storytelling, stylized visual direction, and collaborative worldbuilding.
We are building a remote-first production pipeline with a diverse team of artists, animators, and filmmakers working across different countries and time zones. The project is designed to balance creative freedom with structured production workflows, allowing artists to contribute meaningfully to both the artistic and narrative development of the series.
The series aims to combine cinematic storytelling with expressive animation, with a strong emphasis on character-driven narratives, visual consistency, and a distinctive creative identity. We are currently expanding our production team to support ongoing episodes and pre-production development.
This is a paid, collaborative indie production, with compensation based on role, experience, and scope of work.

Itazura Studios is seeking dedicated creative professionals to join an ongoing indie animated series in production. We are currently expanding our remote team and looking for artists who are comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment.
We are looking for:
2D Animators (key animation and/or inbetweening)
Storyboard Artists with strong cinematic sense
Background Artists with a strong visual eye for environments
Cleanup and Inbetween Artists
Compositors / Motion Graphics artists
Ideal candidates:
Strong passion for animation and visual storytelling
Comfortable working remotely with an international team
Fluent in English for clear communication
Reliable with deadlines and production schedules
Able to work independently while taking direction well
Open to feedback and collaborative iteration
Experience with industry-standard animation software is a plus
We welcome both experienced professionals and emerging talent with strong portfolios and motivation to grow within a production environment.

Itazura Studios is looking for artists who meet the following requirements:
Strong passion for animation, film, and visual storytelling
Ability to work remotely in a structured production environment
Fluent English communication (spoken and written)
Reliability with deadlines and production schedules
Ability to take direction and also contribute creatively
Strong collaboration skills within an international team
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant skills is required
Nice to have (not required)
Experience in professional or indie animation production
Familiarity with industry-standard software (Toon Boom, Blender, After Effects, TVPaint, etc.)
Understanding of animation pipeline workflows (pre-production to post-production)
Both emerging talent and experienced professionals are welcome, as long as they can demonstrate strong ability and commitment.
