EDITOR for an emotional short film

Letting Go is an 8-minute short film about David, a man who uses a Memory Device to relive moments with his late partner Nick. I'm cutting the clips myself, putting them together and laying in the transitions, and I'm looking for an editor to come in on top of that and refine it: sharpening the pacing and polishing the transitions before the film goes to colour grading.

Time: Roughly three weeks from July 1. One kickoff session with me at the start, then a feedback round before locking it and handing it over to the colour grader.

- DaVinci Resolve
- Comfortable refining a director's cut, not building from scratch
- Strong feel for pacing, and for match cuts and transitions across different POVs and timelines
- Narrative experience and an eye for emotional timing
- Can hand off a clean, conform-ready Resolve project for colour
- Remote is fine
