synopsis Guess what! The comedy duo of Pieter van den Wats and Walbert de Boer are hosting a scripted
HORROR/COMEDY talk show about the macabre. That’s right. They’re opening themselves
up to the sublime darkness that lurks just within the shadows of the ordinary and mundane. What
makes this program truly unique though, is that the listening audience is part of the show. They
can call-in to recount their struggles with events beyond the norm. Sometimes the shows are
deliciously scary. Other times, they’re hilariously funny. Or a combination of both. Either way,
you’ll be thoroughly entertained. No subject matter is too weird for our hosts, who endeavor to
come up with explanations and solutions to listeners’ most unorthodox quandaries. In this show,
anything can happen. And usually does. So get ready for the twisted. The Helping Voice is a
disturbing descent into the unfathomable. Which can best be described as the Tonight Show
starring Jimmy Fallon meets Dr. Phil meets THE CONJURING, a series of films inspired by
the true life accounts of psychic investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Topics include, alien
sightings and abductions, hauntings, possession, urban legends, psychic phenomena, alternate
realities and more. There is also a segment in the show where the hosts take crank calls. Using
their own brand of humor to turn the tables on the prankster. However, despite the humorous
spotlight the hosts cast on the unknown, they will use all of their facilities to help the callers.
Because everyone needs help sometimes. Everyone needs a helping hand. Or voice. Even if they
are the damned, the dead or extraterrestrial in origin.
