Dutch filmmaker Chiel Aldershoff was born in 1973 in Amsterdam. After studying psychology for 2 years he turned to film. In 2000 he graduated from the College of Arts in Utrecht as a documentary director. Since then he has been working as a freelance director and editor for documentaries, television programmes and multi-platform commissioned works.
