Initially, I had an academic (analytical) education at the UvA and graduated in Film and Dramaturgy. My first jobs in film were at Pupkin (Feuten III), as a production assistant, and I also gained experience in the Netherlands at CTM (J.Kessels, assistant to the director at ore-production), NL Film, a few years at Spangas. I also gained set experience at a few commercials (e.g. for PriceWise). In Vancouver, I studied for a year at the Vancouver Film School and officially had to pitch my project there, won and eventually made my graduation film 'The Ether Inside' (nominated at a number of festivals; including Vimeo On Demand, VAFF (Vancouver Asian Film Festival) et al.).

I am creative (read: very associative) and free-thinking (yes, also, out-of-the-box, well-literate in both English and Dutch.
I have a wide range of experience in Film and TV, in both assisting, managing and directing (independent and commercials), so I can adapt well to various dynamics.
