trackrecord
DOCUMENTARY Debut during the NFF 2008 with 'Jan Mesdag sings Brel'. Generation Never Enough premiered in 2011, which revolves around the question 'Anything is possible, everything is allowed, but how do I become happy?'. Based on this film, I organize discussions and workshops for companies and other organizations on quarterlife-related topics (choice stress, pressure to perform, etc.). In 2014 U can still vote was shown at NPO3, a documentary in which I investigate the (addictive) effect of instant fame and media imagery based on the stories of the very first Idols finalists. ASSIGNMENTS I make films for various companies, including Rabobank, FrieslandCampina, Museum Hoge Woerd, Nationale Toneel, C1000 and Douwes Fine Art. What these films have in common is the way I approach each story: with a focus on the core values of the company and telling the story clearly, without losing sight of the human detail and personal tone. bijzonderheden
Partly due to the study of Theatre, Film and Television Studies, I have a broad knowledge of these art disciplines, which I like to combine with each other. As a filmmaker, I am a good researcher, both in the field of archive material and in conducting interviews. In addition, I write film plans, screenplays and other texts myself, which makes the production process clear.
