Sophie Olga de Jong (1986, Netherlands) is an animation filmmaker, living and working in Amsterdam. In 2010 she graduated from the Art Academy AKV | St Joost in Breda. She specializes in drawn animation. Her films are characterized by a minimalist narrative that makes use of symbolism and are often poetic in nature. Sophie produces independent animation films and animations on commission.
