Marjolijn van de Ven is a designer of Dutch descent. In 2009 she graduated in fashion and textile design at the academy of visual arts in Maastricht. Over the past 3 years, Marjolijn has designed for various artists, dance and theater companies. In addition, she has worked on various fashion collections under her own label. Her collection Ready To Wear is now for sale in the FAB Store in Hasselt. The addition that movement, music and space can give to a piece of clothing fascinates her and has brought her into the world of dance and theater and entertainment. During her working process she allows herself to be guided and surprised by the material she chooses. In this way, her designs are created through research and molding and things are created that could not have been conceived on paper in advance.
