I am a Director of Photography with over 30 years of experience on short and feature films, television series, documentaries, and more. I learned and practiced my profession in New York since the 1990s, but have also worked on many international productions, even after moving to the Netherlands in 2015. In addition to TV and streaming projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime, NatGeo, and History Channel, among others, I am also perfectly at home in both narrative film and documentary productions, collaborating with large crews but sometimes also in small two-person teams. The films I made with British director Simon Rumley are a memorable variety of themes, technical and artistic challenges, and poignant studies of characters on the edge of sanity.
My interest in history finds room for dramatic and visual exploration in the docu-drama series by director Richard Lopez, in which we filmed recreations of, among others, a Roman emperor, the founder of Playboy magazine, a charismatic murderer, and the freedom fighters of the American Revolution.
