Bart van de Goor is a Dutch actor with experience in both Europe and the United States, where he previously lived for 20 years. He is active in theater, film, television and commercials and has showcased his talents on various stages and screens. His versatility includes the standard American and British RP (Received Pronunciation) accents, and he is known for his strong and authentic portrayals of diverse characters.
He enrolled in acting courses in the Netherlands and Spain, led by renowned Dutch film director Ruud van Hemert. Shortly thereafter he was accepted into the the international acting program at the world famous Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles, California, where he studied with a group of teachers across a variety of disciplines.
Aside from his formal training, Bart continues to explore and study different methodologies, such as Meisner, Hagen, Adler and Chubbuck. He is known as a committed actor who takes his craft seriously. Much of his time is dedicated to research, script and character analysis, and working with writers and directors on creating and bringing to life well-rounded characters and impactful stories.
Bart is available for projects internationally in both Dutch and English.
