Raffi Assaturi is a writer and director. He graduated from the St. Joost Academy of Art in Breda. Raffi is of Armenian descent and was born on July 28, 1992, in Tehran, Iran. He has lived in the Netherlands since 1993; he is currently based in Breda. He speaks fluent Dutch, English, and Armenian.
After graduating, Raffi wrote and directed the satirical sketch De Zwartepietendiscussie-discussie in 2019. Within 24 hours, the sketch went viral and was viewed more than 100,000 times on Dumpert.nl and YouTube.
